I have done my medication with a neddle 4 times and my hand is now swelled up and hurting really bad.I had missed about a week ago but not all the meds I stopped when I realized I was missing and its just had a little knot and that was about a week ago. Now just today it has swelled up the size of a golf ball.it is swelled up and puffy all around it. I think it may be gettig worse as I'm spending time online trying to find a site to ask a nurse or chat with a nusre/doctor and all I can find is ones where I have to pay $50 or more.. what do I do or what can I do. Do I half to go to the E.R. Also I missed in the bend of my arm and its been the size of a golf ball and as hard as a rock what do I do? Can I slice it open myself and let it uuzzz out?

Oh, yes, slicing it open and letting it ooze out is a great idea; no go to the ER and find out what you are doing wrong while injecting your meds.

What meds are you injecting ? Critical information like that is very important when asking, however, being as you are on line, and we are too, we can't direct you to the proper usage of the needle you are using.

Best option, go to the hospital before your arm gets worse.
