I am 38 year of age and recently used a Tampax super plus absorbency Tampon last week for the first time. It resulted in a very painful and uncomfortable feeling when I removed it on the third day of my period. Since this has happened I have been extremely swollen inside my vaginal wall. I have used a vinegar dutch to flush out any residue left from tampon. I have no discharge or smell. Will this go away if I just leave it alone?

It may or it may not... your best bet is to see a doctor as soon as possible in case it is something bad.

You know... I saw that but it didn't really hit me. I just assumed she meant she was using them for 3 days but you are probably right.

No, I change them frequently. It was one I had removed on the third day in to my period when it is very dry that it hurt when I removed it. I realized after my period when I started to itch and burn that I was very swollen up there.
