HI, I am julia, I am in high school and will be going to vocational school during my junior and senior years for half the day. I will be going for the health careers. In that class in vocational you will learn CPR and stuff and will have a certified nurse assistant certification by the 2nd semester of your senior year. This is a stepping stone to college(you get 11 credits to Ivy Tech) so I just wanted to know what are some good medical careers I can pursue that take no more than a bachelors degree. I have thought about being a phlebotomist or medical tech. so I can draw blood(dont mind that type of thing) hope someone can help.

If you are going to get a bachelor's, why not be an RN? It depends a lot on what kind of interaction you think you will like on the job. Many of the tech jobs (blood drawing, lab analysis, EEG/EKG, XRAY/MRI/CAT/PET) are routine and that's nice for some, and others want more variety. Also many nurses start at very high salaries, and are always in demand. The downside of nursing is that hospitals keep cutting back on the number of nurses per patient population, even though paying more, and so it's very stressful. So your choices should depend a lot on your personal preferences about day to day work.
