    Its really hard to draw on the computer but if you see the number of protons and the number of neutrons are in the middle. Then the dots represent the number of electrons, (there are 8 electrons). So there will be a circle around the numbers and there will be 2 electrons on it, one on top one on the bottom, then draw another circle around that first circle and draw 6 dots on the circle line in the order shown on the above picture... on the first circle you can only have 2 electrons on the second circle you can have up to eight and on the third you can have up to eight on the fourth you can have up to 18 etc... I hope that helped butit might be a little confusing
