    Peeling shower walls
Can fiberglass shower walls that are peeling be painted or repaired or do I need to replace the unit (its located in the basement of our home) and since my son has moved his room there and the shower has been used more often the peeling is getting worse

Scrape off all the flaking material and sand down to give a key to the surface. Apply a good primer such as uni bond to seal the surface and prevent further flaking. It would then be best to buy wall panels which are designed specifically for shower walls . Your local d.i.y store will advise you on the correct panels and the proper way to affix them to your shower walls.
