My CRT TV is turning off by itself and I have to unplug and plug it back in to get it to turn back on. Sometimes severa times. Is there an easy fix or is it time for a new one.

Most likely it is a relay. Its not expensive to fix if it is but with all the sales going on you might wish (budget allowing) to get a new TV. Just remember that most of the new ones are HD and if you go to buy one a 27" HD is not as big as a 27" CRT. The difference being it won't be as tall because the screen is more rectangle then square.
