I put the wrong federal id # on one of my w2 1099 R . What do I need to do to fix this and also on lines 15 a is that the 401 k amount that was disbursed to me? Or do I put it on the 16 pension line.

Have you filed the return yet?

If not, change the tax ID #.

If you have filed it, the IRS will figure it out and send you a notice about the discrepancy. You then provide them a copy of the Form 1099-R or W-2 and that will resolve matters.
