My other half wants to be able to slowly add Hot water while she's taking a bath. As of right now to get it to the Hot water, it is coming out full blast, can only drip cold water. How do I change that?

If I understand you, you need to rotate the handle through cold to get to hot water, right? If this is the case, then you are stuck with the design of this valve and CANNOT make any changes to the handle that will help you get hot water down to a trickle... UGH!

With that being said, if it's really really really super important you could rig your tub spout (would be odd looking for sure) by installing a ball valve shutoff off the tub spout... may work for you (may not, too)! Can't promise anything, but if you want to get creative you may be able to come up with something!
