    Light fixture wiring style
While changing a light fixture in a 1960s house I discovered different type of wiring. Possibly k&t. One end is copper only and the other is copper with a coil around it. Can I put my fixture up with l&n wiring and if so which wire goes with which lead?

    Thanks

Knob and tube was not used after the 1930s so UI doubt that is what you have. Can you post a picture?
