My mother just keeps telling on me to my father and he's a very short tempered person, so he flares up and she talks a lot of nonsense about me. Today she told my dad that she thinks I'm a failure ad she kept saying a lot of things and really just put me down. She also did that with my sister. I clearly remember. Its crazy. I live with my parents I cant, move out unless I get married. I hope I don't start believeing what my mother said about me. I'm scared. I don't want to ever talk to her. She has no friends. And she hate's all my friends.

But what's your question for us? Vent to your best friends, stay out of her way as much as possible (while doing expected chores), try to do well in school, and keep busy in your spare time. Get jobs after school, weekends, summers.
I went through the same thing, more or less. I was miserable. I didn't have the internet then.
How old are you? What do you mean you can't move out unless you get married? If you are a minor you can't get married without their permission and if you aren't a minor of course you can move out.

Do you live in a culture where the daughters live at home until they are married?

Well, this happened over the weekend... I vented to my friend(s). Also, she was being extra normal the following day. I found it funny and everything just died down. She's being extremely normal and she even apologised. And yes, I am keeping myself very occupied. I go to college during the day, thank god for that. I cannot wait to start working and be more independent. I am independent in may ways, but financially, I cannot wait.
