My tubes are tied and I am overweight my period is nearly 2 months late but last night I did a home test and it was negative.whats the problem?

When you tested for pregnancy did you use the first urine of the morning as soon as you woke up?

My age is 31 . I am about 265 or so . I have been under a lot of stress due to taking care of my mother who has dementia. I just am concerned because my periods are usually quite normal. I took it in the morning yes.
