My Moen 7400 kitchen faucet gets so tight that I can not turn it from one sink to the other. I use it several time a day and it does not seen to make a difference. What could be the problem?

Hi Susierose
You luck out here because this is a MOEN faucet! If you call 1800BUYMOEN they should be able to send you the correct repair parts for this repair... free of charge (including shipping)!
Here, it sounds like the Orings under the valve body need to be greased up with some silicone GREASE. You will need shut off the water supply to the valve and then remove the spout body to get to the orings and grease them up.
Ask moen to supply a repair parts schematic or specification sheet with your parts... should make the repair go easier. If you ask nicely, they may even send the silicone grease with the parts!
Mark
Do you know what model you have?
Hey Bob...
It's a moen 7400 single lever kitchen faucet... ;)
