Well, basically there's this boy I really like. He knows I like him and was being really sweet when he first found out, then after a while he just suddenly started to ignore me. Apparently there's this other girl he likes so I've kind of kept my nose out, but I don't know what to do! I want to talk to him but I don't want him to find me annoying and desperate? I don't know I just need some advice please? :(

He knows you like him. If he wants to talk to you he will. Set your sight in other places.

He's ignoring you for someone else... so why put yourself through this? Forget about him.

One of the biggest lessons you will hopefully learn as you get older is you can't have everything and everybody you want. Your wanting something doesn't mean you are entitled to it, or need to have it.

Right, here's the situation:
I really like this boy at school, He found out ages ago that I liked him but he just seems to ignore me. He's called Rob, and he fancies a girl in the year above called Kate.
His best friend Andy is in a relationship with Kate's best friend so they are usually hanging around somewhere near us.
The year above us will be leaving school soon so Kate won't be hanging round with us anymore.
I just wondered if there is anything I can do to make him want to talk to me/hang around with me/ even be attracted to me? Even though he likes someone else.
She is leaving soon but still, I don't know whether that will give him a reason to try and meet up with her outside of school and stuff.
I just wondered if there's any way he might notice me more that her?

You said he ignores you... that tells me that he's not interested in you. Find someone else to fancy.

This boy is not interested in you but he is liking someone else. There is nothing you can or should do.

There's no way to be "helpful." He's interested in someone else and you are not to butt in. How would you like it if some girl was after a guy you like and are dating? Be empathetic!

You want someone to tell you how to mess with his relationship with this girl. That will not happen. How would you like it if someone did this to you?
He ignores you and likes someone else. Leave this alone.

Same guy as before right? If it is then after all this time then you should have learned to leave guys who like other girls alone.
