Hello my husband and I are trying to conceive. My period is 2 days late I ha've all the pregnancy symptoms but I am getting a negative home pregnancy test. This is the second one by the way. What is going on?

Pregnancy test accuracy increases greatly as time goes by. At less than a week the accuracy is less than 50%. By the end of the second week after your due date accuracy is over 95%.

Also, if you are pregnant, you no more than 4 weeks. At 4 weeks, there are very few symptoms that would indicate pregnancy.

So how long should I wait to test again?

First a missed period is the first symptom you should get, almost all others don't happen till 3 to 6 week late.

Tests are not good till you are about 2 week late, so you will need to wait about another 12 days to do a test, do it with first urine of the morning
