A O Smith Aqua Air Water Tank sprung a leak!
My A O Smith Aqua Air Water tank has sprung a pin hole sized leak, and I can't determine if there is a way to shut off the water to the tank until the plumber can get here. It is part of a two tank water well system. We no longer use the well, but use city water, but apparently it goes through the pressurized storage tanks before running into the house/yard. Logic would tell me there is a way to close off the tank, but I don't seem to be able to find a shut off. Sorry if this is an individualized question you can't help with... ole woman here...

    Hi Hayfgirl

For sure, you could just shut off the shut off valve at the water meter... that would stop/depressurize the system (after a delay).

Other than that, you need to work your way from the water meter and walk toward the tanks... see if there is a shutoff that isolates the tank(s) or at least a part of the house that may include the tank(s)... may allow you to keep some water on.

    Good luck!
