So I just got my cartilage pierced on Saturday and it didn't hurt the day I got it done but now its been four days my ears are swollen (I got them both done) and hurt to even touch I clean them twice a day and turn them as much as possible but I was told to try and take my ring out for about 30secs and try and clean my ear really well.. well my ear started to bleed (quite a bit) just wanted to lnow if that was a bad sign

What are you cleaning with ? It makes a difference and I hope it isn't soap.

Bleeding is good, it is cleansing from the inside out.

Try using a sea salt and warm water solution. Cartilage piercings take a long time to heal at least two months or more. My industrial was done yesterday and feels terrible but the sea salt helped a lot try to avoid laying on it, taking it out, or moving it. I hope my advice helps!
