My carrier 1989 model furnace tries to run but turns itself off. After 7-8 tries it finally kicks on. I have installed a new flame sensor which helped at first but two weeks later, it is at it again. I feel it is too early to have to clean it with a scotch brite pad which is what I have done for years before replacing it. Any ideas?
