Help me! I just died my hair black which was supposed to be a really dark brown. But I don't want to go back to the salon I'm too broke! Can I just buy a medium brown hair color and do it myself or will I wreck my hair? If so, How long should I wait to do that?

Black is a really hard color to cover, especially if you're only going a little bit lighter.

Your best option really would be to go back to the hairdresser, they can strip some of the color.

But, wait a while. Usually the color fades after a few washes. It's always darker right after you color it.
