Live in ga work in fl employer did not withhold state tax
I have worked for the same company for two years. For the first year I only worked in GA. Since then I have traveled and worked for this company through 5 states. My employer has taken out state taxes for every state. However, when working in Florida they did not take out state taxes for my home state of GA. I am now faced with a huge Ga state tax. I found Ga state guide for employers and it said they should have taken out my state tax for GA while I was in Florida. Do I have any recourse with my employer to help me pay my state tax now? Any ideas on what I can do?
