I'm a 50 year old man I get aroused then lose it, and sometimes it hard to stay up or get aroused again. Once I have one orgasm it's hours before I'm aroused again.

Start with a visit to your doctor and a complete physical. Don't be afraid to mention this to your doctor so he knows what to look for.
This may be a symptom of other another problem or problems. Consider the male appendage like a fine antique watch. It can keep good time only if all the parts are working correctly.
High blood pressure, other medication you are talking, stress, prostate issues is a big cause in older men.
A exam to determine the cause is first on list
Healthy is the key and that starts with a checkup.
I am older than you, and had similar problem. My doctor suggested I try Viagra, and gave me some free samples. It worked for me!
I take blood pressure medications, and cholesterol (spelling?) medicines, as well as acid reflux medication. Your doctor, as others suggested, can probably help you through this. Good luck, and please see a doctor and be honest with him/her.
Hello J:
I don't know.. When I was 50, it took me a little while to recover from an orgasm too... I didn't think that was abnormal, and I don't think your situation is abnormal either..Quote:

I agree, I started Viagra when I was about 48 or 50. Now it is only for those that need it. And have a reason. To be honest it is almost too much now, a 50 or 60 year old really does not need two or three times a night lasting 45 min or so each time.
