    How to tell my parents?
I am in love with a woman who is 6 years older than me. She had been married and has a girl child. We love each other so much. We want to get married as soon as possible. We are planning to get married in April. But I haven't told my parents anything about it. How am I supposed to tell them? What all things should I tell them? Please help.

If you're old enough to take on the responsibilities of a wife and child you're old enough to figure out how best to tell your parents.

You know them. We don't. We don't know if they will or won't be upset. You, presumably, do.

You tell them that you love this woman (and her child) and plan to marry in April. That's it.

    Do they like her?

I would tell them, and tell them the truth. Tell them everything you told here, and hope they will be for you and her. Be respectful and honest, and see what they think. I wish you good luck.

How long have you been seeing each other and why have you not told them you were dating? Maybe you should start by setting up a meeting between your female, and your parents, and introduce them to each other and go from there. Unless you are afraid of their reaction.

What type of culture are you from ? Is love marriage common or is arranged marriage common?
How long have you been dating ? Do parents even know you were dating her, if not why ?
