    Earned income credit
    Atlanta tax expert,

    I am on H1B visa and my wife is on H4 visa. My six month old daughter is US citizen and has a SSN. My wife has ITIN number. However turbo tax software indicated that I am not eligible for earned income credit as my wife does not have SSN. Is this correct? Please advise. Thanks.

    That IS correct.

    If either spouse has an ITIN, the family as a whole is NOT eligible for the Earned Income Credit.
