    I am a sulphonamide, usually given moxypen, but doctor gave me amoxicillin is it safe to take?

    Sulphonamide is a sulfa medication, whereas amoxicillin is a penicillin analogue. If you are allergic to sulphonamide, it is safe to take amoxicillin.
