I went to crank up my 1996 chevy extended cab truck it wilk turn over but won't crank up what could be wrong.

. Remove and fully charge the battery. Clean battery terminals and cable connections.

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check for codes.

. Check for spark. If none, replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil. Check the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

. Check for fuel. Does the fuel pump run, when the ignition switch is turned to ON?
