Hi, is there a condensation drain plug on a power vented water heater?
Finally! We have chipped ice away from the intake, unplugged the heater, plugged it back in and it worked. Now it has stopped again and will not start after doing what we did before. I there a condensation drain plug anywhere on these heaters?

    Hi KF

No condensate drain plugs... condensate drain to blower on some models, but no plugs!

What name and model number water heater do you have and what is the gas valve telling you in terms of blinks at the valve? Have you checked the troubleshooting manual available online?

    Let me know more.

It turned out to be the gas valve quitting on the tank less than three months old!

Thanks for you help though Mark, appreciate it.
