I'm 14 in 8th grade and I just recently started dating this boy that is in high school and is 16. Well on the same day I started dating this boy, my best friend (its a guy) told me he really liked me and he has since the 6th grade. He told me that he would do anything for me. But here's the problem I have always liked him too but I never told him! I mean in 7th grade he ust to tell me he liked me and would ask me out but then he would be like no I'm just messing with you. As in he was just joking. Well the boy I'm dating now is my best friends cousin:/ And THAT MAKES IT 20X WORSE! I don't know what to do! I LOVE MY BEST FRIEND TO DEATH! AND I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR HIM...
but I don't know hoy to tell my boyfriend and I don't want it to cause problems between them because there cousins?? HELP!

A 14 year old in middle schooler dating is a bit much and dating a 16 year old in high School is really stretching it. You are at the age to have fun and talk to who you want, not tie yourself down.
Be friends with both of them. If you are going to date I would say the boy your age is better. Do your parents know you are dating a 16 year old?

Yes they do. And I have known him for a while and he just turned 16 his birthday is 5 week before mine. And its only two years. And no I'm going to be in high school this year.

So you just turned 14? You are too young to be dating. How long has he been your boyfriend, and if you are conflicted between him and your best friend, that is a sign you really are not into him and not sure what you want. That's OK, at your age you wouldn't know, which is why you should not be dating at you age or dating either one. Be friends with both of them.

Most of my friends date and almost every one my age that I know is into it too. Me and him haven't been dating that long but we have hung out allot and got to know each other and then I thought I really really liked him but I think its more of just a friend like.. and honestly not being rude or anything most of the people I know started dating between the ages of 13 and 14 so I don't know why you think it's that big of a deal. And its not like I like 5 guys or anything like that.
The only Guys that I really LIKE is my best friend and boyfriend but now my feeling are all mixed up. And you said I don't know what I want.
Well my best friend and boyfriend act allot alike but different when it comes to some things wich is why I'm confused. Lets just say the situation is hard to explain..?

Girls your age like one boy one week or month and a different one the next. This is why you should not be dating. You're in a fickle state at that age. Be friends, then you can talk to who you want.

I understand that, and all of this is helping with my situation, but I'm just going to put this out there that I'm very picky between who I date and my longest relationship has been 4 years, and it ended because they moved to a different state. And your giving me the "oh your 14 you dont know what love is" vibe.. and honestly that's not right because sometimes you need to remember the right things and mistakes you did in relationships when you were 13 or 14.

Let's see - you've been in more than one relationship, the longest was 4 years, you're 14.
