Me and this guy have been talking for about a month, then we started to date three days ago after we kissed. Things were going amazing and we had been so close and he was just so perfect for me. Then he started to get distant, cutting back from texing me, then I told him I was sorry if I had done anything and he said I didn't do anything and I said I was sorry for thinking I did and he texted me saying; "Its fine..so listen..ik that we just started dating but the truth is before we started dating another reason i waited so long to ask you was because im still not over my ex.. I thought that if we dated it would help but it hasent and its not fair for me to be in a relationshp with you if i still have feelings for Megan. Im sorry but i think it would be better if we were just friends.." I really do like this guy, I just want to know of there's even the slightest chance he would be with me after he got over her. Or what his text fully meant

Best thing you can do is just be his friend, support w/e decision he decides to make n back him up 100% on it.. I know it seems unfair.. I've been where your at... just give it time... n it WOULD have been unfair to you if he stayed with you n not over his ex... hope this helps you :)

.. not all people can get over that kind of relationship.. especially a long one like that... it'll take time for sure... took me a good while after me and exwufe split... like a yr.. n I usually get over things really quick... so who knows, it'll be completely up to him.. don't give him all the control... just do you and just be his friend, no use going out of your way to snatch him up.. if anything just make yourself available to others... date others... then maybe when he sees that hell come around.
