What should I do if I want to give this boy I really like a valentines gift. I'm very shy but don't know what to do or get him!

What do you mean what should you do? If you want to give him a gift, do it.
Is the question should you? Does the boy like you, does he know you like him?
If he doesn't why would you get him a gift?

My son is 14. He's had a crush on the same girl for 3 years, he even asked her out, she said no, she wants to be friends. That's good, because he's too young to date.

He gives her a valentines gift every year. He hand makes a valentine (google homemade valentines and you'll find tons of ideas) and gives her chocolate every year for the last three years. She always says thank you, even though she doesn't like him that way. They're friends.

If you want to give someone a valentine, just do it. If you're only doing it in hopes that it will make him like you the way you like him, then don't bother. Everyone loves to get a valentine. Just make sure you're doing it for the right reasons.
