    Confuesed
So, I have had 6 children and lost the 7th 6 months ago. I immediately got on the shot, but only took it one time. Now after being off it for three months I'm sick. I almost fell pregnant. I took many test and keep getting mixed results. Some will say positive, others will be negative. If I had insurance I'd go get it checked out. I feel pregnant but heard I couldn't get pregnant for 18 months after the chot. If anyone knows anything about this please let me no. Thanks!

There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective. I've known several woman who have gotten pregnant on depo.

But what could cause my test to be positive and some be negative? Lol I usually just no when I'm pregnant but I haven't had a period for 6 months. The day my because ended I spotted for three days but that was it.

Do you test at the same time, early in the morning as soon as you wake up.

It is rare to get a false positive, but false negatives are common, there should be various women's clinics around, perhaps planned parenthood ? Catholic Charities, and others that you can go to. Most US counties have a health department that will do testing

Positive should always be considered positive. False negatives are common, false positives are not.

For the most accurate results make sure you are testing using first morning urine.
