    What is Kaic in Electrical? Or what is the meaning of Kaic and please explain it...

    KAIC stands for 1000 Amps Interrupting Current.

    All electrical distribution equipment will carry this value and rating.

    During design of a system, a short circuit corrdination study must be performed to determine what rating a system should be to withstand a short circuit.

    If, for example, a circuit breaker is only rated for 10 KAIC, and is installed in a system with available 65,000 amps during a short circuit event, the 10 KAIC rated breaker can fail in a destructive manner, in simple terms, blow up and eject shrapnel, and kill someone.
