I'm stumped on this one. I've spent the past two nights trying to do diagnostics in a broken icemaker. I thought I had it figured out when I narrowed the problem down to the water intake valve that was receiving water but not pushing it up the tube to the freezer compartment (thought it was a faulty solenoid). I just replaced the intake valve today and water's still not being pushed up to the freezer. Could it be that I bought a faulty intake valve or that the problem's elsewhere? The ice maker seems to be in order and there's no frozen water blocking entry to the icemaker. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
