I have lived with my mother for over 8 months and I pay her $100 for rent every two weeks. That is what we agreed on when I moved in. I have 3 Children. My Mother and I had a dispute and she is trying to sit mine and my children's belongings outside. Does she have the right by law to take these actions in her own hands

She can evict you but not instantly. She needs to follow the legal eviction process. That provides some notice, etc. Perhaps you should apologize and try to make things right - $200 a month to house four people is a steal of a deal. It's her home, and even if you have to swallow your words and listen to more intrusions and advice than you feel you can bear, you need to give her more tolerance than she affords you - she is doing you a huge favor.

I've lived with my parents as an adult and it's a tough row to hoe, particularly when your also trying to raise your children your way. I learned that it could be helpful to just take some time apart when we were getting on eadh other's nerves and let my parents have their house to themselves. Take the kids to a McDonald's playland or a mall or sledding for a few hours to give your mom a break and some peace in her home. The rest of the time, do more than she asks - more than your share of cleaning and home maintenance. Respect that the children are yours, but it's her house so she gets to set some boundaries, too.

She's probably feeling hurt, unappreciated and disrespected - perhaps you can turn that around with an apology and then talk in a calmer time about how to make things go better.
