    Inducer motor assembly replacement
How much does it usually cost to have an inducer motor assembly replaced? I was quoted a flat fee of $525. Is that reasonable?

Depends on what system you have. Lots of different induced draft blowers out there, and the cost of them definitely varies greatly.

It's a Goodman inducer motor assembly for a natural gas furnace. I don't have any additional details. I would like to know is $525 sounds reasonable before I ask for this repair. Thanks much for your help!

It's for the following natural gas furnace:

    Model No: U-47 Rev B
    Serial No: 0305775771
    Goodman Manufacturing

Agreed but $525 sounds awfully high. Sounds like you are dealing with a "flat rate" company. Their prices tend to be on the high side but you are guaranteed a price versus a company which charges for time & materials. I'd get at least one other estimate.
