Our home in AZ, has been empty for 9 months. The bath faucet does not give any hot water, only cold. The sink near it is fine. How do I get the hot water to come out of the single handle faucet. I have taken it all apart but there is no other removeable part to check. This is in the wall with access only from the front .

When the cartridge is removed turn on the water for a few seconds to flush out debris out of the valve and check if you have hot water if you do, clean the cartridge and lubricate O rings with silicone grease, install the cartridge and try if you have hot water now, if not you need a new cartridge, please tell us the brand and the model number of your faucet, or if you can post a picture of your cartridge, Thanks.
