How long do you have to stay at someone else's house to become a legal resident and what proof do you need of how long you have been living there?

Sorry had to do that.hope you thought it was funny too.no though really just to live with him and get out of the town I was in.I just wanta know how long legally I have to get me and my belongings out of his house if he wants me to leave?

There are no statutory rules here. There are several tests that may be used in court. Does the person have most of their belongings on the property. Do they get mail there. Do they have identification showing the property as their address. Do they pay anything towards the upkeep of the property. What conditions were made when invited to stay.

That last is what Chuck meant by how you came to live there, not what method of transportation.

Yes to all questions.the only conditions made were that I pay a weekly amount to him in cash and I could stay until I get my own place.no contracts and no bills are in my name.so there are no statutory rules that give me a time limit to leave?I just have to leave right then if he tells me to?those two are my major concerns.I've lived here for 9 months.

If you lived there for 9 months and are paying a weekly rent, he can't just throw you out. You are a tenant. He has to give you written notice to vacate. Since you pay weekly, he can probably give you one weeks notice.
