I've been on the Beth control pill Generess Fe since may 2012 which is about 8 months. I have been sexually active for about 3 moths now with my boyfriend. He's allergic to latex and condoms really make me irritated and have burning and irritations after using them. We have had unprotected sex before and have been safe. He always pulls out way before he finishes. I just want to make sure that having sex w/o a condom is okay and that I am protected with my birth control pills.

No birth control method [pills, condoms, ect] are 100%, but in theory birth control pills added with the withdrawl method should keep you pretty darn safe. I am highly allergic to latex, so I can't use condoms either, I was on birth control for 5 years and never became pregnant. So yes I would say you are safe but again, always remember that NOTHING is 100%.

I used the pill AND the condom religiously. I got pregnant not once, but twice. I was also sterile due to a serious round of chemotherapy. You guessed it. I still got pregnant.

So no, you are never 100% protected against pregnancy unless you don't have sex.
