In 2009 Home Depot (HD) installed 7 Simonton windows for us, 6500 series. They all look great except for 1 picture window that is now hazy, as if there's a light glaze on the inside of the window. I've sent a message to Simonton and I'm wondering who backs up the warranty, Home Depot or Simonton. Anyone know?

Go to the HD where you ordered the installation. They are the first party responsible. Do you have a copy of the warranty and the order?

You should contact Home Depot if you got the windows from them. Contact them to know more about the return policies and other terms and conditions. But I think the warranty is backed up by the manufacturer and not the store who sold the product.
