How long will it take for the refrigerater to start blowing cold air. Just got a used Kenmore Elite, side by side. Plugged it in, and only get slightly cold air. Not familiar with the controls. What can I do?

Usually when you buy one used the unit will have a dirty condenser coil. To clean it remove the back and wash out the coils with spray soap like "409" and wash off with hose nozzle.
