    Pergnant no baby in uterus
I had an ultra sound last week. The technition called me 4 days later
And said they couldn't detect a pregnancy in the uterus. I then had
Anouther ultra sound and blood test. I am pregnant but they can't find
The baby. I am confused I am not having ne pain. I am not having any
Bleeding. MY boobs are sore but they act like something is wrong can
They be missing the baby they were tryingt o tell me it was etopic but
They said they couldn't find where not in my tube or in my uterus. I
Usually have a 25 day cycle. I have been tracking it for a year. 25
Days from the first day of last period but could I have gotten pregnant
Later than they are saying they were sugesting me take pills to kill the
Pregnancy. I want to wait it out because I feel the best I have felt in
A long time I am enegetic everything is great. My boobs are more full
And sore. I don't believe anything is wrong but should I be worryed.to
Scanns days apart couldn't find anything I have a tilted uterus I think
The baby could be hiding and if I feel ne pain I should worry I want my
Baby. I don't want to act to quickly and lose a pregnancy that could be
Fine. My last period was 12/12/12. Could I of only gotten pregnant
Less time than theyare saying and that is why it isn't showing up on
Scans. Because they are acting like this is serious and I don't feel
Like it is if they didn't even find the baby. And didn't see it anywhere
Else are they able to miss the baby or could it be to small to detect.

So the doctor confirmed you are pregnant?

Did they check for an ectopic pregnancy?

They had me there for hours and hours doing testing I had more than one ultra sound yesterday. I only have one ovary and fallopeon tube so there is more room for the baby to hide do you think. Or could I just not be far enough along even though last period was 12/12/12

We have a terrific OB/labor and delivery nurse on this site. I will PM her to look at this thread. She works nights, and might still be sleeping. Hang in there, okay?

She apparently is at work now, but I know she checks in from time to time. I PMed her for her expert advice.

You can test positive for pregnancy and have no embryo. One way this can happen is called "blighted ovum". Google the term and you can find out more about it. Basically, you have no embryo in the gestational sac, or, no pregnancy.

They do increase for the first trimester with blighted ovum. I'm not saying that's what you have, but I have had it happen to me.

I would believe that if that was found gestational sac was found but not even that

Hopefully, the techs are wrong. It is odd that they can say anything to you. Usually only a doctor can give results.

When a woman becomes pregnant, the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall. At about five to six weeks of pregnancy, an embryo should be present. At about this time, the gestational sac -- where the fetus develops -- is about 18 millimeters wide. With a blighted ovum, though, the pregnancy sac forms and grows, but the embryo does not develop. That's why a blighted ovum is also called an anembryonic pregnancy.

I have none of the symptoms of the blighted ovum either
