    Pipe not fitting inside fitting
Have PVC pipe 1/2 inch . See enclose picture of 1/2 connector
But pipe doesn't go inside. Diameter is 1/2 but did go inside it has to be smaller maybe for a 3/8 size pipe.
    What do you think

I think that is an electrical connector.

What are you trying to do?

Just wanted to know what pipe size would fit in the inside diameter of outer dia. 1/2

If connector has 1/2'' OD then you would need 3/8'' OD for pipe.

1/2" CPVC or pex will fit. PVC will not. If this is electrical use you cannot mix metallic and non metallic fittings. Either use emt or nmt.

Why fight it? Simply purchase a 1/2" PVC coupling. Good luck. Tom
