What are the side effects for staying up all night?
In the last few days, a horde of homework had to be handed in on the next day, our class was freaked out including me.

What I did was that I stayed up all night (for the first time) to finish most of them, and I left some to finish during lunch break. Back to school, oddly, for the whole Friday I never felt tired, but my head hurts in most of the school period. Even in English class, a substitute teacher said we could watch a movie. I tried to fall asleep but can't.

When it was time to go to bed, I didn't sleep well, and I slept for 12 hours (which rarely happens on me) straight. Afterwards, nothing unusual happened.

My teacher said that it's very unhealthy for me to stay up all night in a young age, and since I'm only 15 and I've only stayed up late once, I have no idea what will happen if I do this again in the future. There are 2 questions I have to ask:

    1) Is it normal for a middle school student to stay up all night because of homework?
    2) What are the other side effects for staying up all night?
