Im 15 years old. My mum and dad are drunk EVERY night. When I say something about it they put on the guilt trip and always bring up what a bad life they have had. But I'm getting to the point where I just want to leave home and never see my parents again. Are they bad for drinking so much? Or am I bad for wanting to leave and never have them in my life?

Many kids go through this and it's a rough thing to deal with. You've made it this far though so you are pretty strong and you need to give yourself credit for doing so.

I have to ask though, are your needs being met? Food? Clothing? Heat? Do they get abusive with you at all?

Food not really. Mom is too drunk to cook and when she does the food is either burnt or not cooked. So Me and my brother just don't what. Clothing and heat? No, if we want clothes we have to pay for them ourselves. Its kind of hard when you are 15 and you don't have a job. But I am looking for one. They don't get physically abusive with me. But they yell at me a lot and they do hit each other.
