On Fri Jan. 25th I received several call inquiring if I really was stuck in another country mugged with no money to return home. I checked my Yahoo mail and it was all moved to my trash. I am not able to send emails or receive emails. This is serious as I have emails that were in trash for business and school I have also signed up for online courses . Please help I can't get through to Yahoo. I did also receive notification that I asked to be able to use my email address if I ever lost my password which I did not request. My bank statements also come through this account.

Sounds like you where hacked.
You can restore mails from trash and you MUST change ALL of the information for this account soonest.
It has most likely been blacklisted by Yahoo due to this activity..
