What effect dose bad parenting have on the decision making of a young person?

It all depends. What is your idea of bad parenting?

I was going to ask the same thing. Also "good" parenting does not always make for a good child. My father was basically absent through my growing up. In turn I have become a hands on parent. So a bad influence could become a good one.
