I've been trying to get pregnant since August. I had three 30 day cycles one 43 day cycle I am now on day 46 of this cycle. I thought I'd test today and get an accurate test but I'm 3 days late (or at least I think I am) and I got a negative test. My husband left for basic training so I haven't been BD since the 8th. Could I be testing too early or are the tests right and I'm just not pregnant? Any suggestions?

You have to be about 2 weeks late for the test to be correct.

So if you have a 40 day cycle, then wait about 10 more days to test,
Also you can go in for a blood test at the doctor or women's clinic
