    Shower
We have a shower stall that has two shower heads on each side of the wall. So its long.

How can I tell what the shower walls are made of, looks like mable, or a very hard plastic. If Mable, can I cut around the bottem portion to make it into a shower/tub combo? You know, just put in a tub. I realize I need to add faucet, etc. for the tub .

    Hi Leo

It can be done, but it would require you to cut the marble(?) a little higher than the tub will be and then you will fill that extra space in with new cement board and maybe some marble tiles to match up or accent the space. You will also need to plan on moving the shower drain to the end where the tub drain is. The tub drain should be accessible through a closet or access panel so you can easily hook the drain up and work on the drain when/if needed.

With that being said, jobs like this almost always take way more time than planned and almost never match up properly, but with the proper skills it can be done correctly!

    Questions? Let us know, OK?

What are the deminsions of the shower floor now? I have converted tubs into showers. Swanstone even makes a pan specifically for that but going the other way can be tricky
