My husband gave blood two days ago and it's now getting darker, spreading up his arm both ways and of course getting larger. What should we do about this, if anything? This is usually not the normal for him, in fact he had it drawn twice by two different people that day and the other area on his other arm is perfectly fine, but he says its also sore.

Could be that they hit the vein poorly and that is just bruising. I would go to a doctor to get it checked out anyway.
