Urgent Please! My pup is not feeling well...
My pup husky is subjected to low positive Canine Distemper.. Last 2 days, he was brought to hospital because the vet said it's just suffered from over fatigue. But when we brought him home after being "dextrosed" for days, he's still so weak that he vomits all he drinks and eats. I have researched about the Distemper and my pup shows some symptoms like loss of appetite, jerking while sleeping, fever and lethargy. Does it mean he is already positive to the Distemper? Any answer would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Please don't waste your time waiting for positive answers on our site if your pet is in danger. An expert may not be available who knows the facts about distemper as we are all volunteers.

Who diagnosed your pup with low positive canine distemper; you say the vet diagnosed overr-fatigue. Distemper is neurological in dogs and usually appears 3 to 6 months, your pup is in this range?

I would say you should get him to another vet, for a second opinion, I don't think the vet you took him too diagnosed properly, or treated properly, or perhaps you are leaving some facts out because you are upset.

Distemper is not difficult to diagnose, all the signs and symptoms are there. You need another vet immediately.

It is difficult to assist on line, it is not normally our policy because of this.

The first vet has diagnosed the distemper while the other vet said over fatigue
He is still 2 months and 4 days old

But I think he is only depressed because when I brought him to the clinic he becomes wild xD

    Thanks for answering though :)

Has anyone actually tested him for parvo/distemper?
