I had a question whether to go in to see a doctor. My mother just recently took me off her insurance so as of right now I have no insurance. I noticed a bump near my naval area which got red and was tender
Bending over.It happened Saturday night which all I could do was lay down. The next night it started to pus, so I cleaned it out and kept it dry. The next morning I guess I had some dried up pus so I ceaned it out again and was a little tender tnat day. I was looking online for some possible answers to my problem and came up with hernias or maybe a cyst! I'm freaking out wheather to go in or not but as 2 days went by I can't feel it anymore and it doesn't hurt. What should I do?

Could it simply have been a pimple or an ingrown hair?

A hernia will not go away on its own (and really, it doesn't sound like one) and neither will a cyst. Maybe wait it out another day or 2 and see if it goes away.
