I usually have very regular, irregular periods. By that I mean for the longest time I have had a period two consecutive months and then skipped a month. Sometimes it will hit at the end of the month causing me to skip a month I am not supposed to but always shows up early in the following month. However, it has been 55 days since my last period. Several HPTs say negative. I have never skipped two consecutive months before. My Average cycle length is 52 days, and I know the leutal (sp) phase is 14 days, every time. I have had unprotected sex 5 times since the end of my last period, in Nov 2012. Can I just not be showing up positive or could something else be going on?

When are you testing? Have you had a blood test done? When was the last time you tested?

I tested on the 11th. And the 18th. And No I haven't had a blood test done yet, I figured if I hadn't seen it by the 31st I would ask my dr while I was at an appointment.

Are you testing with first morning urine?

I did both times.

I would definitely get a blood test at this point. That's really the only advice we can give you.

Yes blood test end of the month good idea. Best testing is done 14 days after a missed period, but if it is hard to determine a date for period it makes it harder
